A delightful late 19th century watercolour. The artist has depicted an idyllic tree lined path, with blue skies and lush foliage. Presented in a gold mount with the artist's name 'Christina Pearce'. The watercolour has been laid onto a section of newspaper which features the date '1881'. Signed and dated.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The mount is quite worn, with marks and losses to the gilt paint. Scuffs and wear to the edges and corners of the mount.
