A small and charming Italian coastal scene with figures in fishing boats, painted in watercolour with areas of gouache highlights. Well presented in an ornate decorative gilt frame with red staining. Unsigned. On watercolour paper.
Condition
Overall age toning present. Light areas of foxing and yellowing. Some surface dirt to the right edge of the glass. Minor losses to corner of frame but these areas have been painted over in gold.
