Charmian Edgerton trained at the Zurich School of Art, NCAD, Dublin, Chester School of Art and Trent Polytechnic, gaining a BA in graphics and illustration. She furthered her studies specifically in portraiture and figure drawing at the Sir John Cass School of Art, and has also taught in Borstals, Prisons and Schools.
Specialising in still-life pastels since April 1989, Edgerton has held various exhibitions and much of her work has been commissioned for greetings cards. She is a regular contributor to Leisure Painter Magazine and has had many of her paintings reproduced as greetings cards, fine art and limited edition prints.
