Charles Robinson (1840-1881) - 1874 Wood Engraving, Freemason Procession

A fine wood engraving showing a procession of Freemasons at Plymouth to meet the Prince of Wales. This print was printed in 1874 by Charles Robinson, (1840-1881). The print has been presented in a fin imitation Hogarth frame with a grey wash-line mount. On wove.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some foxing to the interior edge of the inner window of the mount and some dirt trapped behind the glazing in the lower right corner of the mount. The frame has two minor losses at the lower corners and some scuffing to the right and left edges.
