An fine engraving by Charles Levassuer from an original painting by George Melchior Kraus. Inscribed in french 'A Gentleman by Freminville, Treasurer of the Hotel. A Royal of the invalids.' Inscribed with the names of both artists in the plate. Presented in a Hogarth style black and gilt frame. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a print of this age including some discolouration. The print has been mounted to a back board with signs of water damage. Overall the frame is in good condition with only a few small losses.
