Artist Biography
Born in 1820, British artist Charles Henry Slater flourished in the mid-nineteenth century. Slater was a realist, still life painter known for his depictions of fruits and flowers in a representational genre. Slater exhibited at the Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street.
