A rare hand-coloured lithograph heightened with gum arabic, published in 'Sketches in Scinde' by Lieutenant William Edwards of the 86th or Royal County Down Regiment, and aide-de-camp to General Sir Charles Napier. Lithographed by Charles Haghe and published by Henry Graves & Co., London 1846, depicting the 'Main Guard & Government House, Hyderabad'. There is a lable affixed to the reverse that also provides this information. Well presented in a brown card mount and a wood and gilt frame. Unsigned. On wove.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, age toning and foxing. There is a tiny pinhole to the bottom edge of the frame.
