Cedric Dawe (1906–1996) was a renowned art director for the British Film Industry, working as Art Director on ‘The Saint’ and ‘The Day of the Triffids’. He trained in painting at the Brighton School of Art and London Art College and in the 1920s shared a studio in London with his father who was a commercial artist. On the strength of his drawing skills he became a member of the Architectural Association.
