A vibrant still life composition by French artist Frans Lejeune (1879-1963) depicting a wine bottle, glass and loose apples arranged on a cloth-covered table. The painting is well presented in an ornate gilt-effect frame with sweeping acanthus profile. Signed lower left and dated 1915. On panel.
Condition
Signs of wear consistent with age. Minor discolouration to the varnish layer. Areas of craquelure to the surface. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.
