Description

A farmworker toils in a sun-drenched field alongside two sturdy draught horses. Rendered in warm, golden tones that capture the rural atmosphere, the figure bends amongst the stubble whilst the horses stand ready. Signed 'A. Holche' and dated 1897, the painting is well presented in a gilt-effect frame. On canvas board.

Condition

Light wear to the gilt effect frame. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.
