An amusing scene depicting fashionable men and women playing a game of boules in a park. One man measures the distance between the boules to determine the winner, whilst another gestures excitedly and a woman shows the distance to the watching crowd with her fingers. Well presented in a vintage gilt frame. Unsigned. On panel.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Some scuffs around the edges where the frame has rubbed against the surface. Areas of overpainting. Marks, scuffs, and small losses to the frame. Areas of restoration and overpainting to the frame.
