A wonderful interpretation of Anthony van Dyck's famous 1635 portrait of King Charles I. The artist has drawn inspiration from the three viewpoints, completing the work with bright, bold colours and expressive brushwork that gives the composition a fresh, modern feel. Well presented in a simple wood frame. Signed. On canvas on stretchers.

Overall in good condition. With some minor marks to the frame. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
