A wonderfully large still life in pastel created by Belgium artist Renee Prinz (1882-1973). The scene depicts two ripe tomatoes on a white plate, next to a large delftware flask with tulip motif. The artist has wet the paper to help blend the pastel to the desired effect. Signed to the lower right. Presented in a fine ebonised frame with gilt. On paper.
Condition
There is a light scratch on the surface of the drawing, below the flask handle. Otherwise in fine condition.
