Description

A naive, yet incredibly charming oil portrait of Spot the Gloucestershire Old Spot pig in profile. Presented in a handsome black frame with a narrow bronze window. The artist has initialled and dated to the lower right in red.

The oil was acquired as a pair, with 'Nelly' the Hampshire sow also available on our website.

The painting's varnish layer has yellowed considerably.
