Description

This expressive nude study depicts a sleeping figure, resting on top soft white bed sheets. The artist has used a limited colour palette with gestural brushwork, to capture the effects of light and shade on the human form and folds in the sheets. The oil has been signed with initials to the lower right. Presented in a veneer wood frame. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

There are several light chips and scratches to the veneer wood frame.
