Winifred Smith and Maud Foster Travelling Scholar. Slade Diploma in Fine Art (Very highly commended). First prizes in figure painting and drawing, landscape, plant and still life drawing, Steer Landscape Prize. Esmond Scholar of British Institute in Paris; studied etching with S.W. Hayter at Atelier 17.
