A captivating watercolour painting with gouache details, depicting a busy street scene with a cathedral in the background. Signed to the lower right-hand corner. There is an illegible inscription to the opposite lower corner. Presented in a golden card mount and in a white, 19th century Rococo-style frame. On watercolour paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and light foxing. Minor marks to the mount and some scuffs to the frame, including small losses.
