A richly detailed print of Henry Oswald, Cardinal of Auvergne, Archbishop of Vienne, dated 1749. exquisite detail in the velvet drapery, lace embroidery and fur cape. the plate border has a latin inscription and coat of arms at the bottom.This particular portrait was made after Hyacinthe Rigaude had received a knighthood. Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is a white blue across the the surface of the print and some loss to the bottom right corner of the card back. The print has been trimmed inside the Plate lines. Several white marks and scuffs around the edges.
