A finely painted portrait of a young boy dressed in a fine blue suit with a lace collar. He holds a large flower, possibly foxgloves. Well presented in a dark wood frame with gilt slip. Inscribed to the reverse of the frame July 1834. On paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing. There is a 5cm scratch to the glazing. Some marks and scuffs to the frame.
