Margaret Brynhild Parker (1907-1987) was a painter and illustrator born in Letchworth, Hertfordshire to an English father, artist Frederick Stanley Parker, and a Swedish mother. She attended the Slade School of Art from 1925-28 and after showed at the Goupil Gallery, NEAC and was a member of the East London Group. She also produced posters for Shell. Parker held two solo exhibitions at the Lefevre Gallery in 1935 and again in 1938.
Parker taught at Letchworth Grammar School during the early years of World War II, and after the end of hostilities decamped to the south of France. Manchester City Art Gallery and Letchworth Museum & Art Gallery hold examples of her work. The Beecroft Art Gallery held an East London Group exhibition in the spring of 2016.
