A fine late 19th-century portrait of a young boy, wearing a tartan skirt, black jacket and bowtie, holding a fishing rod. The portrait has been well presented in a glazed gilt frame with internal slip and card mount. On paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some discolouration to the paper and card mount. Light wear and dirtying noted to the frame.
