Artist Biography
Brian Oxley is an artist born in Croydon, Surrey. He studied at Folkestone School of Art 1958-61, Canterbury College of Art 1961-63; Goldsmiths’ College 1965-66 and later at the Kent Institute of Art & Design, 1994-1996.
Oxley, who paints mainly landscapes has shown at the Royal Academy, Oriel Gallery, Dublin, Metropole Arts Centre, Llewellyn Alexander and elsewhere and abroad. In 1995 he was commissioned to paint two murals for the cruise liner Saga Rose.
