Benjamin D. Sigmund (1857-1947) - 1891 Watercolour, Playing in the Woodland

A watercolour and body colour landscape depicting three children playing in the woodland. Presented in the original glazing, a white mount, and a gilt-effect wooden frame. Signed and dated to the lower-right edge. On wove.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is a mark to the glazing at the lower edge, some scuffs and scratches to the frame, and some gapping between the frame and mount at the left edge. Overall well-presented and in good condition.
