Description

A delicate watercolour painting by Beatrice Johnson (1938-1988) depicting a vibrant floral arrangement of roses, wallflowers and delphiniums in shades of crimson, coral, pink and blue, displayed in an ornate Japanese ceramic vase. The work is pencil-signed to the lower left and presented in a glazed gilt-effect frame.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the watercolour and light wear to the frame. There are two small marks on the frame's glazing (lower right-hand edge)
