A handsomely presented pair of 19th Century re-strikes from the original plates by Francesco Bartolozzi. The pair show the seasons of Spring and Summer represented by putti, holding aloft nests of baby birds and sprigs of flowers and blossoms. The pair have been identically framed in a Hogarth style frames with gilt detailing and wash-line mounts. On wove.
