DescriptionBarry Owen Jones RWS RE A fine etching with aquatint entitled St Sampsons Harbour. Pencil signed lower right and dated 2003. Limited edition 81/100. In a good mount and a frame with some damage to a corner as shown. Barry Owen Jones was born in Highgate in 1934, and grew up in North Wales during the war. He returned to London in 1946 and was educated at Barnet Grammar School. He studied art at Hornsey College of Art (1950 ? 55) and gained a National Diploma in Graphic Design. He worked in London in advertising and publishing, and then moved to Guernsey in 1974, where he began painting and etching. He founded the Coach House Gallery in 1975.
