Two engravings with later hand colouring of the east and west sides of the iconic Regent Street in London. The engravings were originally designed as part of the pictorial history series 'London and its Environs in the Nineteenth Century' (1829). Both were drawn by Thomas Hosmer Shepherd (1792-1864), the east side engraved by M. Barrenger, and the west side engraved by W. Watkins. Inscribed with the relevant artists' names in plate. The latter is also dated 1828 in plate alongside details of the publisher, Jones and Co. On wove.
Condition
Both have been cropped in plate and have some surface marks and mild discolouration.
