A delicate watercolour composition by the artist Barbara P. Morgan, depicting figures enjoying the sunshine on the beach. Signed in the lower right hand corner with an inscribed label on the reverse. Well presented in a card mount and a contemporary painted wooden frame, as shown. Signed and incsribed on the reverse. On watercolour paper.

Condition

In fine condition. There are some very minor scuffs on the frame.

Artist Biography

Barbara P. Morgan was a contemporary British artist, who primarily worked in pastel and watercolour. Barbara instils a sense of vibrancy and dynamism within her compositions, well suited to her chosen medium. Her work has been exhibited at The Mall Galleries, London, and the Laing Art Gallery. Her husband Edward was also an artist, and both of their collections have been acquired by Sulis Fine Art.
