A fine and crisp etching with coloured aquatint showing a watermill and its surrounding buildings. The Wintry scene has been finely rendered with a naturalistic, muted palette. The artist has signed, inscribed and numbered (68/200) to the lower edge.
The print has been presented in a thin, brass frame with a layered card mount.

Artist Biography
Barbara Munns was born in 1937 in Middlesex. She earned her degree from West Surrey College of Art and Design and later she continued her studies at Birmingham Polytechnic where she gained an MA. Barbara began etching in 1980 and quickly established herself as one of the trendsetters in this form. She declares that “the Southern counties of England have been the main inspirations for my work.” Her art has been exhibited at galleries in Tokyo, New York, Frankfurt, Basle and Los Angeles. She has also achieved vast acclaim in watercolor and painting still life subjects.
