A fine etching by the artist Axel H. Haig (1835-1921), depicting the interior of the Basilica di San Zeno in Verona, Italy. The crisp plate strike conveys fine architectural details and intricate figures. The artist has signed the work in graphite, below the plate. There is also a monogram in the plate, along with the date '1903'. The picture is presented with a mount, laid to a 1.5cm thick canvas board. The overall size is 61.7cm x 75.9cm. On wove.Condition
In good condition, with some surface dirt and age toning. There is foxing to the mount but only light foxing to the print itself. There is adhesive residue to the edges of the mount.
