A delightful late 19th century gouache depicting a couple in typical Austrian attire. The gentleman sports a traditional Tyrolean hat, whilst the lady wears a Dirndl featuring a vibrant lilac skirt. Both are adorned with red alpine flowers. Unsigned. Handsomely presented in a painted wooden frame. On paper.

Light abrasions and a small tear to the right edge. Some wear to the frame, including notable scratches to the lower left and upper right.
