Austin Blomfield - Set of 3 Original 1967 Mixed Media. A set of 3 drawings each measuring the same (27.1 x 37.8 cm). One signed, dated and inscribed 'Entrance to Bishops House, Norwich 67'. The other two are unsigned. Signed and dated. On wove. Minor discolouration and wear to edges of page.

Austin Blomfield (1895-1967) was a British architect who was the son of renown architect and designer Sir Reginald Blomfield (1856-1942). They were in practice together and Austin Blomfield continued the firm after Sir Reginald Blomfield's death in 1942.

Collection Information

From a family archive of sketchbooks and works containing graphite sketches, watercolours and studies of architecture and landscapes by the British architect and designer, Sir Reginald Blomfield RA (1856-1942), and his son Austin Blomfield (1895-1967). Images of the sketchbook where the work has been taken from are shown in the photos above for reference.
