Austin Blomfield - Original 1935 Pen and Ink Drawing. Signed, titled and dated lower right. On thick card. Signed and dated. Discolouration to outer edges of picture, but main image is unaffected and is in good condition.

Austin Blomfield (1895-1967) was a British architect who was the son of renown architect and designer Sir Reginald Blomfield (1856-1942). They were in practice together and Austin Blomfield continued the firm after Sir Reginald Blomfield's death in 1942.

Collection Information

From a family archive of sketchbooks and works containing graphite sketches, watercolours and studies of architecture and landscapes by the British architect and designer, Sir Reginald Blomfield RA (1856-1942), and his son Austin Blomfield (1895-1967). Images of the sketchbook where the work has been taken from are shown in the photos above for reference.
