Attributed to Thomas Barker of Bath (1769-1847) - Original 19th Century Pen and Ink Drawing. Ink and sepia wash, a very fine drawing of bandits holding up a horse and carriage, swords drawn. The style and handling of the materials bears significant similarities to other drawings by Barker of Bath of figures in landscapes, and the age of the paper dates this drawing to his period of work. Very well presented in a washline mount and simple gilt frame with light reeding. Unsigned. On laid. Foxing to the sheet and a few fine abrasions to the surface. Frame has some very minor wear but is in good condition - overall the appearance is very good.
