Attributed John Samuel Bowles - Original 1852 Graphite Drawing. With pen and ink which has discoloured slightly, and body colour. The lower edge has been cropped, removing the start of the location inscription in the lower right. The location is also inscribed on the reverse. Inscribed. On wove. In fine condition.

There is no indication on any of the works as to the artist. Included in the album were two old photographs of Milton Hill House as it appeared in the mid 19th century (as see in photos above). The house at that time was owned by John Samuel Bowles and that is the basis of the attribution.
