Attributed John Samuel Bowles - Near Barnards Green, Malvern, Original 1850 Watercolour. Painted on wove and foxed at the corners to backing paper. Location inscribed to lower, dated in the lower right. Inscribed. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.

There is no indication on any of the works as to the artist. Included in the album were two old photographs of Milton Hill House as it appeared in the mid 19th century (as see in photos above). The house at that time was owned by John Samuel Bowles and that is the basis of the attribution.
