Attributed John Samuel Bowles - Original 1847 Graphite Drawing. Drawn on wove and fixed at the corners to backing paper. Titled and dated to lower. Inscribed. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing.

There is no indication on any of the works as to the artist. Included in the album were two old photographs of Milton Hill House as it appeared in the mid 19th century (as see in photos above). The house at that time was owned by John Samuel Bowles and that is the basis of the attribution.
