A fine watercolour painting, attributed to the English artist Thomas Creswick RA. The scene depicts a mountainous lake view with a small boat and a fisherman. Unsigned. There is a Thos. Agnew & Sons Ltd label on the reverse, inscribed with the artist's name and title. Well-presented in a wash line card mount and in a distressed, gilt-effect frame. Comes with accompanying Agnew & Son receipt for 19 Guineas (March 1952) On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and minor surface marks. Minor scuffs to the frame.
