Description

A fine and detailed watercolour painting, attributed to the artist Robert Brandard. The scene depicts a landscape view with two figures by small rural houses and a stone wayside cross. Artist's name is inscribed on the mount. Well-presented in a double washline mount and in a simple gilt effect frame. Unsigned. On watercolour paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and light mount burn. Some marks and discolouration to the mount. Some scuffs and losses to the surface of the frame, most visible to the lower left-hand corner.
