The scene depicts a barn-like structure with a distinctive red roof nestled amongst rolling countryside and dense woodland. The composition employs an impasto technique with short applications of paint and brush details. Presented in a gilt-effect frame with black inner border. Unsigned. Titled and inscribed as a gift from Prof. Reinhold Schmidt verso with further provenance labels. On cardboard.
Condition
Light wear to the gilt effect frame. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.
