Description
An exquisite pair of later 18th century silhouettes after prolific profile painter John Miers. The first depicts the sitter Mary Burrow in profile to the right with her hair styled up and wearing a dress. While the second has the potential to be Reverend Thomas Burrow's, Mary's Husband, also in profile to the right. Both figures have been well presented in later eglomise frames with convex glass and decorative acorn hangers. On plaster.Condition
Both silhouette profiles are in a very good condition with only a small amount of deterioration and marking to the gentlemen's eglomise frame.
