Description
An early 19th century watercolour depicting two bandit figures riding away after jousting a noble gentlemen from his horse in an attempt to fatally injure. Figures can be seen rushing to the lord's aid in shock of what has just happened. The painting bears an inscription on the back in a later hand - G V Nash, and is well presented in a wash-line mount and gilt-effect frame. Glazed. On paper.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the watercolour and mount.
