A charming and delicate watercolour study attributed to the British artist Fanny Mearns (fl.1870-1881). The artist has a distinctly delicate technique, using a light palette to depict an idyllic scene. Presented in a wash line mount and simple wood frame with gilt detail. Inscribed to the reverse with the name 'Fanny Mearns'. On watercolour paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing.
