A charming graphite sketch of two students learning how to play the piano,, this could have been used as a preliminary sketch to painting similar to Alice Barber Stephens 'Woman giving little boy piano lesson'. There is an inscription to the top edge reading 'Jan 5th 1893' along with the initials R.B.S and R.B.S to the lower edge. It has been well presented in a card mount
