From an extensive collection of works by the artist. While most are signed, all are from her studio. Her subjects include portraits, figure studies and landscapes and are executed in a range of mediums, including oil, watercolour, pastel, pencil and charcoal.

O'Connell is a well-known face in the Welsh art scene and has works in a number of public collections, these include Balliol College Oxford and Cardiff City Hall. O'Connell is passionate about depicting the human figure and in 2007 won First Prize at the Rhondda Heritage Park Open for one of his life-paintings.
