Arthur Terry Blamires (b.1930) was a painter born in Batley, Leeds. He began his working life as a teacher of geography, but had some art lessons from R. Dawson, in Leeds. He turned to art professionally in 1984 and his oil paintings of views of the Lake District have been reproduced as limited edition prints.
