A watercolour and gouache portrait of a military figure, illustrating the attire of a member of the King's Own Regiment of Foot. Presented glazed in an ornate gilt-effect wooden frame. Inscribed with the title of the regiment and the date 1743 to the lower edge. Signed to the right of the gentleman's feet. On wove.

Condition

There is some foxing and discolouration but the colours remain bright. Some small restorations to the moulding on the frame at the corners. Overall in good condition.
