Description

A vibrant still life showing a bowl of apples upon a patterned tablecloth. The vivid tones and expressive brushstrokes is reminiscent of the post-impressionist style favoured by The Camden Town Group. With an exhibition label on the reverse. Signed. On canvas.

Condition

Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. There is a line of loss to the paint across the lower left corner and a few other areas of paint loss visible across the painting.
