Annie Pyne, sometimes known as Catherine Annie or just Annie, was born in 1871. She was the eldest daughter of Thomas Pyne. In 1891 Katharine, her father and new stepmother, and Annie's sibling sisters were still living at Upper Park Road, Hampstead, when the three girls are each noted as 'art student'. In 1901, she is noted as being a 29 year old 'satin wood painter'. Pyne was a member of the Ipswich Art Club from 1897-1898. She died at her sisters home at Yarnton in 1944, aged 72.
