Anne Searle - Original 1981 Watercolour. Signed. On board. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.

Borne in Derbyshire, England, Anne Searle studied general art and painting at Chesterfield College of Art and trained as a graphic designer at the London Central School of Art. She taught lithography and Life Drawing at Chesterfield College of Art before moving to Surrey, and then on to Staffordshire. Working mainly in Watercolours she finds their infinite variety a constant joy. All growing things - vegetables, herbs and weeds found in her cottage garden are treated with the same degree of fine observation that has made her paintings highly sought after.
